I did get some good pictures of Cameron but the internet here is really slow. We will be heading back to Amanda and Greg’s when we leave here to spend the 4th with them. I will try to post some when we get there. Internet is much faster. I did get a couple of good ones of him in his bath with a big smile. Amanda was making him laugh and he wasn’t paying attention to the camera. He really loves his bath. I’m not sure what day we will be leaving there. Either Sunday or Monday. I need to be back by Tuesday for the summer reading night at school. We will be home for a couple of days and then will leave for Colorado. We will stay at a timeshare in Pagosa Springs for a week and then go up north to see family and friends.
It is pretty warm here. It is 9:30 a.m. and it is 82 with 84% humidity. Heat index is 91. Tom and I don’t really mind the heat though. Sure is better than being too cold. Supposed to rain quite a bit today. We thought we would take the day to do laundry. We are only a few miles from the Daytona Speedway and wanted to go over there to take the tour. We went by there the other day but didn’t have the camera so didn’t want to take the tour then. We will be back down here in August so if we don’t get to take it this time we will try to do it then. I think it is supposed to be nicer tomorrow although they have a 30-40% chance of rain almost every day. I guess that is all for now.
It isn’t the 82 degrees that would bother me; it’s the 84% humidity. Not used to it any more. The “firecracker 400″ should be held in a few days at Daytona Speedway– at least I think they still have it. Are you staying in touch with Alvin?
Actually, there is a race this weekend on the 4th. We went to the speedway today and walked around and went up into the grandstand and got pictures. Lots of motor homes in the infield. Don’t know who they belonged to but figured there were probably drivers there. I haven’t talked with Alvin since we left (haha). I’m sure he is doing fine without us. He has Ashley and McKenzie and all the other dogs to keep him company.
